Summary
Provides mid-office development and support for accounts, regions & departments. Acts as automation specialist & provides maintenance, development and testing.
Responsibilities

  • Provide scope of incoming request and assess feasibility of request
  • Develop and maintain web services connections to third party software in Compleat midoffice
  • Implement touchless file finishing for accounts on various online booking tools
  • Monitor application:
  • Assess and resolve runtime errors
  • Checking SQL queues / queries
  • Checking machines
  • Trend issues
  • Communicate IT issues with appropriate departments

Summary
Responsible for the successful completion of comprehensive, accurate, cost effective travel arrangements for Direct Travel clients within company policies utilizing corporate contracts and preferred suppliers in an efficient and professional manner.
Responsibilities


  • Assists travel counselors on a real time basis with questions related to client policies, company standards, and questions related to the use of technical tools
  • Assists supervisor with monitoring customer service and technical skills, provides immediate feedback and coaching to develop travel counselors
  • Completes domestic travel arrangements for clients which may include air, hotel, ground transportation, and rail
  • • Uses available sources such as State Department websites, news agencies to stay informed of current international events

Title: Sr. Proposal Writer

Overview
Senior Proposal Writer will report to the Director of Strategic Corporate Communications and will work alongside the Corporate Communications team to provide proposal writing to maximize both new business and client retention. Senior Proposal Writer will have day-to-day involvement in the development, production and submission of all assigned bid opportunities including responses to RFIs, RFPs and open-ended invitations to bid on travel management solutions. Senior Proposal Writer will interface closely with the Marketing team as well as Sales and Account Management and will coordinate with appropriate SMEs to determine concept, strategy and timeline for each bid opportunity. Processes will include gathering relevant and sellable information; evaluating and editing existing verbiage; creating new proposal language; and soliciting contributions from appropriate areas within the company to be used for compelling proposals. Senior Proposal Writer will be experienced in Direct Travel’s RFP tool and will assist in maintaining the library of current and effective proposal material in the database.
Senior Proposal Writer will be expected to provide professional writing services for initiatives outside the bid process, including but not limited to: website content, client communications (newsletters, alerts, announcements and correspondences), PR campaigns, white papers, press releases and trade articles, as needed.

Clinical Trial Travel Coordinator
Reports to: : Sr. Vice President, Norwood, MA Office
Department: Colpitts Clinical
Office Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30 pm

JOB SUMMARY:
This in an entry level position at Colpitts Clinical, a Direct Travel Company. We handle reservations for patients and their families traveling to medical appointments. All reservations are handled following HIPAA and sensitive/confidential guidelines and the candidate will go through training to become GCP (Good Clinical Practice) certified after hire. It is a rewarding experience working in this fast growing area of the business for the right candidate.
RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position will require hands on training through a training program to handle travel arrangements to include; hotel, sedan service, rental cars, ground ambulances, interpreter services, prepaid per diems and other important prepaid arrangements. (Air travel may also be handled with previous air experience).
    DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Loading, building and managing Direct Travel Hotel Program RFP - estimation of 10k-12k properties for 2018
    • Delivery of master rate loading instructions and auditing that rates are loaded and displaying correctly
    • Build online directory to be posted for internal reference, inclusive of DT properties and ABC properties
    • Assistance with internal queries from sales and account management (CSIs and program education)
    • Administration support including reporting on results, invoicing, managing and updating marketing plans, sponsorship calendars

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Experience working with hotel chains at the corporate level (not just property level)
